To elect a Chair for the duration of the ensuing meeting only.

By affirmation of the meeting, it was

UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED THAT:

Councillor S Z Haq be elected Chair for the duration of this meeting only.

To receive apologies for absence from Members to determine the quorum of the hearing in accordance with Rule 7 of Part 4 of the Constitution.

An apology for absence was received from Councillors L A Bentley, G A Boulter and I K Ridley.

Councillors F S Broadley and J Kaufman substituting.

Members are reminded that any declaration of interest should be made having regard to the Members’ Code of Conduct. In particular, Members must make clear the nature of the interest and whether it is 'pecuniary' or ‘non-pecuniary'

To conduct interviews for the recruitment of the Chief Finance Officer (Section 151 Officer) and recommend the appointment of a candidate to Full Council.

Interviews were conducted for the recruitment of the Chief Finance Officer (Section 151 Officer) with a positive recommendation for the appointment of a candidate to be made to Full Council accordingly.
